one problem with much of feminism and feminist circles is that it’s more about *~aesthetic~* than it is about actual change. like u will see a woman with a “misandry” shirt on and alien style pastels who supports porn, prostitution, gender, and any other man-made tool used to oppress women. saying “I’m a feminist” does not inherently make you one - and wearing a misandry shirt or drinking out of a male tears cup isn’t activism. these faux feminist *aesthetic* women are often the first to throw black women, lesbians, disabled women and poor women under the bus which is interesting considering how much they talk the talk about supporting women!
